Snohomish Master Bath
We are always thrilled when clients come back for more remodel projects. After finishing their beautiful bamboo kitchen, it was time to look at updating their master bathroom.

The bathroom was very small, and the homeowners opted to increase the size of the space by moving one of the walls into their master bedroom. This allowed for more layout options, and making the space feel like a proper master bathroom.

The unique blue tile that wraps around the room gives beachy spa-like energy and complements the dark grey floor and bright vanity colors. We went with simple and clean lines for all the accessories to complement but not overshadow the tiles. The mirror has a hidden medicine cabinet behind it, and open shelving leave space for easy access storage and decoration. With an updated shower, and heated flooring this space feels luxurious and welcoming!

Before
The before photos show you just how small the bathroom was before construction began.
There was space to the left of the toilet not being used, and the only storage was the lone cabinet on the wall.
The shower was tightly fit into the space, too bulky for the size of the room. The countertop had little room for getting ready on the small vanity.

After

By increasing the size of the bathroom just a few feet into the neighboring bedroom, we created a whole different layout that optimizes the whole space.

The updated master bathroom now follows the style of the rest of the house, fun unexpected materials while maintaining simple clean lines. Beautiful blue tile creates a spa-like feel, and chrome finishes decorate the space. The blue tile is Crossville Retro Active 2.0, in gulf breeze.
The walk-in shower feels so roomy with minimal hardware, and a curbless shower floor. The bench is now large enough to sit on, with a hand-held shower that allows for easy access. We built up the wall behind the tile for the addition of grab bars if needed in the future for the homeowners.
